Fotonest is operated by Creative Hippo. You can ask us to delete your Fotonest account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to make that request and what happens when you do.
1. How to request deletion
Email sourav@fotoneststudio.com from the email address you use to sign in to Fotonest, with the subject line "Delete my account." To protect your account, we only act on requests sent from (or verified against) the account's own email address. We'll email you to confirm once it's done.
If you're signed in, you can also delete your account directly in the app: Profile → Privacy → "Delete my account."
2. What we delete
Once your request is verified, we permanently delete:
- Your account and sign-in — email address, name, and profile photo.
- All photos and images you uploaded — event photos, selfies, your profile picture, and any logos, banners, or promo images.
- Face-recognition data — the facial feature vectors used to find you in photos.
- Your events and their contents — including guest and participation records and watermark settings.
- Other profile details and preferences — for example your Instagram handle and saved settings.
- Usage data — such as upload quotas and cached lists.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
3. What we may keep
We may retain a minimal record of past transactions — order ID, amount, and date — where the law requires it, for example tax and accounting rules, for up to 7 years. These records are not used for anything else, and they contain no photos and no face data.
4. How long it takes
We complete verified deletion requests within 7 days, and usually much sooner.
